Fantasy Football Draft: Part 2

Yet another fantasy football draft has been completed. This one, a 14 team league, was a success if I do say so myself. Aside from the selecting of countless players, drafts are usually good for mindless and crude banter among the teams. "Don't take TO...he's a douche." "Draft Itula Mili, he's going to win the MVP." "Does anyone know if Monte Kiffin is starting this year?"

This league, however, had one manager who was a particular numbskull. He had a strong (and usually absurd) opinion on everything. After being mocked for drafting Chad Jackson (a rookie WR who is currently semi-injured, but should contribute to a strong offense this season), the obnoxious man drafted Curtis Martin. That's right folks, he drafted a RB who most people expect to retire before playing another game.

So, I ask you, who would you rather have? A WR with strong upside who will move up the depth chart if the pouting Deoin Branch is traded? Or, a RB who is more likely to compete in a bingo parlor than in the Meadowlands?

Minor League Roster

Here is the current minor league roster. Some changes will be made prior to playoff rosters being set (Duncan and Markakis...get ready for your callup). Not like anyone reading this (if there is anyone reading this) cares, because no one even knows who any of these players are. But, I'm cool like that...and, I have time to waste because a little league world series game I was going to watch has been canceled (god...I really am that pathetic). Since I know you are all sitting at home saying "stop rambling and let me see your wonderful minor league roster already!", here it is:

The Playoff Race....

Well, I haven't done this blog thing for a while due to my hectic schedule. I have been splitting time between saving the whales, fighting Hezbollah, and playing war games with Maurice Clarret. But, now that ole' Mo is in prison, my schedule has cleared up.

A 3 game series with Otto (who was actually the "other" guy in the car with moronic Lonny Baxter), that could decide the playoff race. Pess won the opening day with a 178 point performance led by Ian Snell and Kevin Millwood. Kevin Barry was upset he didn't get a chance to contribute. But, how would he contribute? He sucks.
